I capture fractions of everyday life in which tenderness plays the main part. My fascination focusses on what it is to be human: closely observed, quietly emotional, and often gently amusing. My eye simply records life as it happens. Sometimes I let it unfold. Sometimes I lend a helping hand. Either way, the feeling is pure. People do wonderful things when they think no one is looking. That is precisely when I pay the most attention.
Both of my books are included in the collection of the Rijksmuseum.
